PARENTS OF YOUTH (22 AND UNDER)
If you worry that your child may have issues with substances or addictive behaviors, Lifeline can provide free and immediate support. Our counsellors and Parent Coach can help you navigate the signs and symptoms, learn what is in your power to change, and discover how you can best help your child, your family, and yourself.
And if your child is struggling with the fallout from a parent or sibling’s addiction, our Youth Counsellors are here to give them the tools they need to heal.
HOW TO START
The first step to accessing our free and immediate services is to give us a call at 514-738-7700. Our first response team will ask for some basic information in order to complete a Request for Service form.
We are happy to arrange a phone call with our Youth Coordinator if you would like some guidance about talking to youth about making this call. If you are also interested in Parent Coaching, please tell the first response worker.
Once we have the information we need to proceed, our Youth Coordinator will be in touch within 1-2 days.
